Our History

The history of Sindhi Dry Fruits dates back to the late 1930s, even before India’s independence. It was then that our founder, Shri Gagan Mal Kataria, began trading in dry fruits in Sindh (now in Pakistan).

As independent India was born, Shri Gagan Mal Kataria made a groundbreaking decision—to establish a retail shop—which laid the foundation of our current business. His dedication was evident in his hands-on approach, personally preparing and cleaning every item: from crafting mouth-watering Tilbhuggas to frying and roasting cashew nuts.

Over the years, his hard work bore fruit, and soon it was time for his two sons—Mr. Ashok Kumar Kataria and Mr. Inder Kumar Kataria—to enter the prestigious business. They too have dedicated themselves fully to the legacy, continuing to uphold the commitment to quality and customer trust.
